The PLAN
Paul & Marion had purchased their apartment off the plan 6 years prior and were now looking to move up to their property up the coast, hinterland. Paul & Marion originally listed with another agent. The PROCESS
Paul & Marion engaged Luke O’Kelly & Ray White West End and converted the sale to Auction. A marketing campaign was chosen which included both realestate.com.au and domain, to ensure the property was marketed both locally & interstate. A Ray White buyer database campaign was run, ensuring all buyers who had inspected similar properties were invited to the open homes.
The RESULT
Following a four week auction campaign, 23 groups of buyer inspections, 6 offers, the inroom auction featured registered 8 bidders. The property was sold under the hammer to Ken & his wife Sabine for $940,000. Ken & Sabine had originally inspected the property with the first agent, and submitted a conditional offer at $900,000. The auction process and competition from 7 other buyers pushed Ken & Sabine to pay an extra $40,000 at auction with no conditions.
