The Plan

Sarah & Evie purchased from Ray White West End, called it home, prior to renting the apartment out for a period. Sarah & Evie wanted to take advantage of the recent growth in the market and prepared the apartment for sale, which included virtual staging.

An auction campaign was chosen, as achieving the best price in the market, on the best terms was important to Sarah & Evie. Timing was not. A fixed 30 day settlement was preferred, however settlement dates were flexible

The Process

An extensive marketing campaign was planned including virtual staging, professional photography and both realestate.com.au and domain, to ensure the property was marketed both locally & interstate. A targeted buyer campaign focused on buyers who had inspected apartments in 4101 (West End, South Brisbane & Highgate Hill) in the last 90 days with budgets between $500,000 – $750,000 through Ray White West End, was also a key marketing strategy.

Following a comprehensive four week auction campaign, 48+ buyer inspections, the property sold at auction for $730,000 and above the owners expectations. The competition of the auction was core in achieving the best price in the market. The buyer paid a premium at auction to secure the property

The Result

Guy was looking to purchase a home and had inspected several properties in West End, South Brisbane, Dutton Park and Inner City. Guy attended previous Ray White West End in-room auctions to both bid on other properties and also get confortable with the process.
