Steve & Mary purchased the apartment and as an investment. Following 10 years and a rental apartment they decided to sell. Professional photos were taking and virtual staging to remove the tenants personal belongs. The apartment was prepared for sale. A minor painting refresh was attended to.

The Process

Achieving the best price in the market, on the best terms was important to Steve & Mary. Timing was not, however a settlement after 1 July was requested.

An extensive marketing campaign was implemented including professional staging, both realestate.com.au and domain, to ensure the property was marketed both locally & interstate. A targeted buyer campaign focused on buyers who had inspected apartments / units in West End in the last 90 days with budgets between $800,000 – $1,000,000 through Ray White West End, was also a key marketing strategy.

The Result

Following a comprehensive auction campaign, 25 buyer inspections, the property sold at auction for $869,000. The competition of the auction was core in achieving the best price in the market.
