David & Yujin purchased the property off the plan which they called home for many years. Following overseas posting and renting the property for a period David & Yujin decided to sell the property.
The PROCESS
David & Yujin chose to auction the apartment with Luke and the team at Ray White, as they wanted to ensure the best price in the market, on the best terms. The apartment was full staged & prepared for sale, which included a partial repaint, sink replacement and a general tidy up. A complete marketing campaign was decided on to ensure all possible buyers were at the auction in 4 weeks time. The marketing included courier mail print advertising, realestate.com.au and domain to target the interstate buyer, along with a video & social media campaign.
The RESULT
Following a four week auction campaign, 54 groups of buyer inspections and 7 offers, the apartment sold prior to Auction to Leanne & Harry who lived in the adjacent complex. Leanne & Harry wanted to secure the property prior to auction and submitted an unconditional offer at $2,500,000 the night prior to auction, to secure the property. The $2,500,000 sold price was $800,000 more than the similar apartment sold a few months earlier directly below.
