Teigen & Joe purchased their apartment 12 months prior, from Ray White West End and were looking to upsize, due to their family growing. Teigen & Joe completed a renovation and staged the property for sale.
The PROCESS
Teigen & Joe elected to auction their apartment, as they had previously purchased the property at auction. A marketing campaign was chosen, which included both major property portal advertising. A social media campaign was also included, to reach local buyers who may not have been actively looking to purchase, but may inspect following seeing the property in their social media feed.
The RESULT
Following a four week auction campaign, 34 groups of buyer inspections and 5 offers, the inroom auction featured 6 bidders. The Auctioneer called the property on the market at $640,000 and following active bidding the property ultimately sold for $730,000; $90,000 more than the client’s expectations.
