The Plan
Sue owned the home for almost 30 years—first as a primary residence, then as an investment. Looking to take advantage of the market, Sue prepared the home for sale, which included general repairs, ending the tenancy, staging the home, and having a building and pest report prepared.

A key marketing strategy was a targeted buyer campaign focusing on buyers who had inspected homes in 4101 (West End, South Brisbane, and Highgate Hill) in the last 90 days with budgets between $1,500,000 and $2,000,000 through Ray White West End.
Following a comprehensive four-week auction campaign and more than 60 buyer inspections, the property sold at auction for $1,590,000.
The Result
The buyers live locally and were looking to upsize. They had previously inspected similar properties with Ray White West End in the month prior, which is why they were invited to inspect this one.
Attending the auction via phone bidding, the transparency and competition of the auction were core to providing them with the confidence to bid and buy.
