The Plan

Rosie purchased the property off the plan, as an investment. Following recent sales of one bedroom apartments at high prices Rosie decided to be opportunistic and sell.

 

The Process

The plan was to show the property to the under bidders of apartments which sold recently, as the property was recently tenanted and a smooth sale was essential. The plan was to go to auction, should the under bidders not show interest.

The Result

Following an inspection with two of the under bidders, the property sold for $500,000 prior to going to market. The competition of the forthcoming auction was core in achieving the best price in the market. The buyer had to pay a premium, unconditionally, to secure the property prior to auction.
